The Alexander Hamilton Awareness Society was formed by Rand Scholet in 2011 to increase the awareness and appreciation for one of our nation’s most influential Founding Fathers—Alexander Hamilton. In its relatively short period of existence, it has become one of the leading promoters of education about Alexander Hamilton, with extensive programs in Trinity Churchyard and elsewhere on the date of Alexander Hamilton’s birth in January and his death on July 11.

We are an unincorporated association of 44 Corporate Societies with more than 15,000 members. The NSCDA has been a leader in the field of historic preservation, restoration and the interpretation of historic sites since its New York Society first undertook the preservation of the Van Cortlandt House in 1897.

The Association des Cadres de Réserve Français aux États-Unis (ACREFEU) is the French Reserve Officers Association in the United States. ACREFEU officers participate in joint training exercises with the U.S. military, translate military documents, act as instructors to the U.S. military (e.g., West Point), initiate and host numerous military conferences, participate in patriotic ceremonies and, when called, serve in military and peace-keeping operations abroad.

The Fédération des Anciens Combattants Français (the Federation of French War Veterans) was founded in the State of New York in 1919. Felix Froger, its first President, was a naturalized U.S. Citizen who, having enlisted in 1914 as a private in the French Army’s 13th Field Artillery Regiment, transferred to the U.S. Army in 1917. The Federation strives to maintain the spirit of Franco-American comradeship-in-arms by participating in patriotic and historical ceremonies.

Founded in 1993, the American Society of Le Souvenir Français, Inc. is a New York-based association devoted to honoring fallen French soldiers, sailors and airmen, the memorialization of their sacrifice and the education of younger generations. Additional, the Society acts to promote French heritage and culture in the United States of America and American heritage in France as well as the strengthening of the long-standing friendship between our two nations. The Society is affiliated with Le Souvenir Français, the Paris-headquartered “parent” organization conceived in 1872 and formally established in 1887.

Gold's Dragoons
Gold's Dragoons, Inc. was raised in Fairfield, Connecticut in 1660 as a British colonial militia unit to fight the Dutch and Pequots and subsequently confirmed by a Royal Charter issued by King Charles II in 1662 . Today, the aim of this historical association is to perpetuate the memory of Gold's Dragoons and its members, past and present, who have joined together over the years to celebrate the spirit of military service in the United States and British Commonwealth.
